Tyler Morris

10/27/17 about 9:30 am at Pine Ridge Park. It was sunny outside but slightly chilly. The area was mostly wooded area.
1). Sword Fern
  • Sharp tooth with incurved spike tip leaves
  • Relatively large fern with stout, woody, stout rhizomes
This fern was growing in the mud so we thought that it was a resilient plant.

2). Vine Maple
  • Multi stemmed tree
  • About 15-20 meters
  • Undeniable maple leaves
I learned about Vine maples in high school so I have always been able to notice and identify them since.
